We are seeking an innovative and creative self-starter to manage a newly developed Marketing and Communications function, supporting the delivery of our strategies as the charity becomes more donor facing and issue led.

The role will ensure that the Community Foundation raises it profile via targeted activities, enhances its reputation with relevant markets and develops its role as a community leader. The role will also support the Partnerships & Philanthropy team to provide a high standard of donor care, especially around events.

The role offers the opportunity to work with our current high profile supporters, including our Patron, Cherie Blair, the Liverpool Echo, Alliance & Leicester, Merseyside Police and the Royal Liver Group.

Essential knowledge and skills include working with high profile individuals and the media, project management, web and new media design and development, and a proven track record in delivering against Marketing & Communications objectives.

Desirable experience includes working with celebrities, event management and a having relevant marketing qualification.

Liverpool Philharmonic Hall seeks a Press and Marketing Officer to join the Marketing/Communications team. This role will support the programme of rock, pop, international roots, folk, contemporary, jazz, and comedy events at the Hall. Candidates should have experience of press liaison, producing copy, working in a press/marketing environment, and a passion for a broad range of music.

The salary band for this post is £16,000 - £19,000 per annum
